Two years in the making, testing and perfecting and with decades of single hookbait experience between us, we have launched a purposefully small range of hookbaits as a collaboration with Baitworks – our ‘Small Batch Blends’
Baitworks has one of the most respected and long-established reputations for quality, and also for producing some of the most renowned and successful hookbaits of all time. Add into the mix Gaz’s thirty years of rolling his own custom hook baits, and the end result would always be special
Hand-crafted using complex blends of around a dozen carefully sourced liquids, powders and enhancers and using Baitwork's extensive sampling and ingredient network as a base to build on, we believe these are some of the best hookbaits available. Multi-layered, and based on complex blends providing long-lasting attraction on a number of levels

SAMPLE STAGE
Given the vast amount of hookbaits appearing on the market left right and centre these days with seemingly little in the way of credentials, it was imperative to us that we offered something that had been genuinely tested, refined and was made using the only the best ingredients we could find. Pulling from Baitworks extensive sampling network, and decades of experience between Mike, Mark and Gaz, we tweaked and refined two blends that had already been catching stacks of carp for years into even better versions
TESTING TESTING
Once we had refined and balanced the blends, we played with at least a dozen or more slight variations over the course of the next two seasons including testing multiple versions of certain powders and liquids to find the best ones - only the strongest survived. Gaz then tested them for the majority of his angling, catching numerous big uns both at home, and overseas - the new blends out fishing some trusted old favourites and cherry picking the big uns too. Only once we were all completely happy, did we finally hit go on some production versions
PRODUCTION VALUES
Baitworks are already renowned for making some of the most successful hookbaits on the market, and their extensive knowledge has helped make these as consistent and effective as they could be. By making them in small batches, production and quality is carefully controlled every step of the way
THE RANGE
No one needs twenty pots of pop ups in their rucksack. All you need is a pot or two of the right ones. We've purposely kept the range tight, with just a couple of sizes and colours - we know how effective they are, and we trust them to catch carp anywhere, any time. The Herbs and Hawaii's have already proved themselves as stone cold classics again and again, from the pressured UK circuit, to big wild French barrages and beyond. New blends are in the mix and on the testing table, but don't expect anything quick - it's a slow, careful process
